Hope In Jesus
Children's Home for orphaned children in Uganda
A Nation in Need:
The Crisis Beyond Our Walls
The struggles of the children in our care reflect a larger national emergency. Uganda battles widespread homelessness, deadly diseases like malaria and typhoid, and relentless climate disasters that displace thousands every year. We live in a creation that "groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now" (Romans 8:22). The children at Hope In Jesus Children's Home represent millions across our nation who are in desperate need of hope and a chance for a better tomorrow. In the face of such overwhelming need, we are reminded that our fight is not against flesh and blood alone, but against the spiritual forces of darkness that perpetuate poverty and despair. Yet, we are not without hope, for we serve a God of all comfort.

Paul’s encouragement strengthens us: “Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer”. Romans 12:12 KJV
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12 KJV

A Donor's Testimony
of God’s Provision
Last week, we witnessed firsthand how quickly the Lord uses the generosity of believers to meet real needs at Hope in Jesus Children’s Home. A simple gift for new mattresses and blankets brought immediate joy and comfort to the children whose needs are so real and immediate…

Our Mission & Vision
Our mission is to provide emergency protective care, a transitional home, and community resettlement services for orphans and other vulnerable children in Mutai, Uganda, and the surrounding Eastern regions.
We envision a world, as Scripture instructs, where no child suffers or perishes from neglect, abuse, or deprivation. We strive for a future where every child grows up in a loving environment and has access to education, a future where the children "be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine...

Our Foundation:
Our Core Values Rooted in Scripture
We believe that every child deserves a loving home, a family, and caretakers who nurture their physical and emotional well-being. We hold that children belong in a loving environment. This belief is rooted in the biblical model of the church as a family, where we are called to "be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you" (Ephesians 4:32).
